ABOUT KATIE
Third-generation real estate. First-generation Montana roots.
I didn't choose real estate. I grew up in it.
The short version?
I was raised around open houses and closing tables.
My grandparents owned a title company in Washington. My grandmother was a realtor. My parents built a portfolio of rental properties that taught me, long before I had a license, what it looks like to treat real estate as something you steward, not just something you sell.
I moved to Montana and knew pretty quickly that this is where I wanted to plant. The mountains, the communities, the way people out here still know their neighbors. It felt like the kind of place where I could build something that lasts.
I got my real estate license three years ago and spent that time working alongside one of the top-producing agents in the area. I learned how deals get done at a high level, how to protect clients when things get complicated, and what separates a good transaction from one that falls apart. In January, I stepped out on my own as an independent agent with Keller Williams Montana Realty, and I haven't looked back.
How I work
Five words I come back to on every deal.
Legacy. Integrity. Intentionality. Trust. Stewardship.
Those aren't on a poster in my office. They're the filter I run every decision through, from honest pricing conversations to clear communication when the news isn't what you want to hear. I treat every property like it belongs to my own family, and I follow through long after the contract is signed. Real estate is a relationship business, and I take that literally. I want to be the person you call when your neighbor is thinking about selling, when your kid is ready to buy their first place, when someone at work mentions they need an agent. That kind of trust is built by showing up and doing the work, every single time.
BEYOND THE BUSINESS CARD
A few things you won't find on my resume.
Based in Townsend with strong ties to the Gallatin Valley and Helena area
Always happy to share a contractor recommendation or a honest lender referral
If I'm not working with clients, I'm probably outside somewhere
I know these communities from the inside, not just the market data
WHY IT MATTERS
This is my career. Full stop.
There are roughly 1,500 licensed agents across Southwest Montana. Some of them are incredible. Some of them do this on weekends between other jobs. I'm not knocking the hustle, but I think you deserve to know the difference before you hand someone the keys to your biggest investment.
I show up for this work every single day. I study the market. I answer my phone. I prepare for every showing, every negotiation, every conversation like it matters, because it does. Your home is not a side project to me, and your sale is not something I'll squeeze in between other commitments.
